Crossways provides a professional counselling service in Haslemere and the surrounding area for people who otherwise would not be able to afford private counselling sessions. We have a team of 8 counsellors who have either a diploma or MSc in counselling and abide by the Code of Ethics of each of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Association of Christian Counsellors. They are all Christians and work under regular supervision. Crossways offers help and support to individuals who are experiencing a variety of difficulties such as:
- Stress
- Depression, anxiety or confusion
- Redundancy, work or retirement-
related issues
- Relationship or family difficulties
- Bereavement or loss
- Abuse
It is useful to note however, that these are the presenting problems, but clients often go on to work on much deeper issues from their past. Childhood abuse is not at all uncommon.
This service will start at 7pm at St Stephen's Shottermill on Sunday 12 October. There will be cheese and wine first. If you are planning to come, please feel free to bring family and friends. We will be celebrating 10 years of Crossways counselling so it would be good to have as many people there as possible.
